Patricia has been a partner at Kottke & Brantz, LLC since 1994.  Her practice focuses on family law, estate planning, probate and real estate (with an emphasis on homeowner associations and title review). 

Patricia is a 1992 graduate of the University of Colorado Law School.  Patricia received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and she also holds a Masters Degree in Judicial Administration from the University of Denver Law School. Patricia also graduated from the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia and completed training in mediation of divorce and child custody disputes through the Center for Dispute Resolution.

Patricia has over 30 years experience working in the legal field. Her experience has included her current practice, prosecuting attorney for child support enforcement, mediator and paralegal.  From 1978 to 1990 she was the Clerk of the District and County Courts in Boulder and was responsible for the administrative activities of the Courts.  

From 2006 to 2008 Patricia was the chair of the Family Law Committee of the Boulder County Bar Association and she is a current member of the the Interdisciplinary Committee which is comprised of family law lawyers, mediators, and therapists.

Patricia lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, Cain Kobert.  She has a grown daughter.
