Andy has been a partner at Kottke & Brantz, LLC since 1999. His practice focuses on real estate and business law.
A 1977 graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, Andy has practiced in Boulder for over 30 years representing residential and commercial real estate buyers and sellers, in both simple and complex transactions. He is recognized as an expert in IRS Section 1031 exchange transactions.
Andy has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating business agreements, purchase and sales contracts, and limited liability and corporate organizational documents. Andy also has a long history of lending experience, having represented commercial investors, developers and bankers in commercial loan transactions.
Andy is a former chairman of the Boulder County Bar Association Real Estate Committee. He has served on the Boards and as President of the Flatirons Optimist Club, the High Mar Swim and Tennis Club and the Eldora Mountain Ski Club.
